The Right Honorable Sir John Major, was a British Conservative politician who, following Margaret Thatcher, served as Prime Minister from 1990 to 1997. As Prime Minister he oversaw Britain’s longest period of continuous economic growth and the beginning of the Northern Ireland Peace Process.
In 2005 he was elected to the Committee of the Marylebone Cricket Club and on retirement he lived for some time in a block of flats on St Johns Wood Road, St John’s Wood, London NW8.
